Baby Kitties Are Settling In

I've not been getting outdoors much, since I can hardly tear myself away from watching my new babies. Is there anything cuter than tiny toddling kittens at play?

Just everything is so interesting to those little babies! Everything in the world is a toy and everything is Brand Spandy New!
Somehow it does not surprise me that it's the tortie who spit at you. Feisty little things, torties are.

OH! They are just too cute! Now I have to go back and read how you ended up with them!

They are just the most adorable little balls of fuzz. You're not going to want to see any of them leave for good new homes. I was right, that little calico is a spitfire.

They look as though they are getting over their fear, too, which is great!

Thanks, friends, for stopping by to leave your encouraging comments. It's true I am falling in love with them and will be sad to see them go. I already have three cats acquired from shelters, but these little ones are taking up quite a bit of my time. I gave them all flea baths today (yes, they DID have fleas, of course!), and I have to take two of them back again to the vet to have larval cysts opened and the wormlike larvae removed. The vet said we have to wait until the larvae's breathing holes are big enough to get tweezers into. Yuk! In the meantime, the cysts ooze and stink, so I have to keep washing the areas. Poor little babies. I suppose all little mammals born in the wild have such parasites. Guess we'd better test them for tapeworm. too.
