Yes, they got it right this time. We DID have a snowstorm, and just a nice amount: about 6 inches of fluffy stuff. Once the front walk was shoveled (we have only 40 feet to deal with), the car was brushed off, and the birdseed area cleared, there was nothing to do but enjoy the beauty. Sadly, temps now will rise above freezing the rest of the week, with rain predicted by Thursday. So this wintry wonderland won't last long.
I'm glad I got out in my yard to take a couple of photos:
My Three Graces garden statue acquired a busby-tall snow bonnet.
The Winterberries looked extra vividly red in contrast with the white snow.
