Crescent moon at dawn, November 22, 2011
For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love that from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
For the wonder of each hour
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale and tree and flower,
Sun and moon and stars of light,
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This, our hymn of grateful praise.
Traditional hymn by Folliott S. Pierpoint, 1864
To all my friends, I wish you the very happiest of Thanksgiving Days.

A-maze-ing photo!!! Thank you!
'Most appropriate post! Many, many thanks! Blessings to you and your family!
oh that's one of the best hymns ever -- I remember first hearing it in a recording of "Missa Gaia," and they were singing it in a big cathedral --but I like hearing you sing it a capella along the trail, as well !
Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventures with us. Love the poem! Happy belated Thanksgiving. It should be a daily thing anyway, aye?
