For more than twenty years I've been wandering the woods and waterways of Saratoga County, New York, looking closely, listening carefully. We are blessed in this county with an amazing amount of wilderness right at hand. With this blog I will share a year of adventuring here, seeking out what wonders await in my own Madagascar close to home.

Saratoga Waters, Beautiful Rain or Shine
A rainy Monday evening at Moreau Lake
A sunny Sunday afternoon on the Hudson River at Hadley/Luzerne
It rained for what felt like 2 weeks here, and now when it stopped I feel like I miss it. there's that special fresh spring green that is so vivid on rainy days.love your photos as always. If you get a chance, I have a couple of flowers in my post from Cutler park that I couldn't remember what they are...
Thanks, asita, for stopping by to comment. I did go back to your blog and leave you a message, admitting that I really can't ID those plants from photos alone, especially since they have no flowers as yet.
