For more than thirty years I've been wandering the woods and waterways of Saratoga County, New York, and regions nearby, looking closely, listening carefully, and recording what I experience. We are blessed in this region with an amazing amount of wilderness right at hand. With this blog I share my year-round adventures here, seeking out what wonders await in my own Madagascar close to home.

Saratoga Waters, Beautiful Rain or Shine
A rainy Monday evening at Moreau Lake
A sunny Sunday afternoon on the Hudson River at Hadley/Luzerne
It rained for what felt like 2 weeks here, and now when it stopped I feel like I miss it. there's that special fresh spring green that is so vivid on rainy days.love your photos as always. If you get a chance, I have a couple of flowers in my post from Cutler park that I couldn't remember what they are...
Thanks, asita, for stopping by to comment. I did go back to your blog and leave you a message, admitting that I really can't ID those plants from photos alone, especially since they have no flowers as yet.
oh, muy goodness, what a gorgeous show of the lake on a rainy day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, Jackie!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carolyn and Ellen. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
