If you visit the park's headquarters you can obtain a map that will show you all of the trails in this wonderful park of more than 4,000 woodsy, watery, and mountainous acres, on both sides of the Hudson River.Jacqueline Donnellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390548854179921303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2662118368553266438.post-16455338999130992082010-06-25T17:27:18.251-04:002010-06-25T17:27:18.251-04:00Where is this hiking trail, please?Where is this hiking trail, please?Bee Balm Galhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14038669996768097233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2662118368553266438.post-75880875002093878332010-06-24T12:28:33.582-04:002010-06-24T12:28:33.582-04:00Always good to hear from you. They are an eastern lichen, from Canada down to Georgia, and parts of eastern Alaska. Found some of 'em last year and they are what prompted me to purchase my mighty lichen tome - it's not a field guide, but a good in-your-library reference book.Ellen Rathbonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17684750034177425795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2662118368553266438.post-52618389082851462792010-06-22T07:48:31.015-04:002010-06-22T07:48:31.015-04:00I always HAVE wondered what made those spit balls....I always HAVE wondered what made those spit balls... now i know!
